LCW Meets Saturday, January 17th, PLUS Looking for Graphics Artist Volunteer

Our first Lancaster Christian Writers is coming up quick on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Lancaster Alliance Church, 210 Pitney Rd (off Hwy 30 across from Costco) from 9:30AM-12 noon ((registration opens at 9). Join bestselling author, speaker and marketing expert Karen Whiting and author/editor/speaker Jeanette Windle for a Q&A Session on topics of your choice.

Q&A SESSION: The weekend of January 16-18 is also the first Jerry Jenkins/Cec Murphey Christian Writers Retreat in Hershey, in conjunction with the Munce Christian Produce Expo. With a number of LCW members attending, we have rescheduled our planned January speaker (award-winning novelist Eliot Pattison) for February, so that no one will have to miss his presentation. Instead, we will be hosting a Q&A Session, with queries on any fiction and non-fiction topic fielded by Karen Whiting (in town for the Christian Product Expo) and Jeanette Windle.  Help us prepare by sending your questions in advance to jeanette@jeanettewindle.com

SPEAKERS: Karen Whiting is an award-winning author of sixteen books, including Stories of Faith and Courage from the Home Front (2013 Military Writers Society of America Gold Medal and 2013 Golden Scroll Nonfiction Book of the Year) and The One-Year Princess Devotions (2014 Christian Retailing Best Award, children's nonfiction). Karen Whiting has seen in print as well more than 500 magazine articles in more than sixty periodicals. She is a marketing expert, vice-president of Christian Authors Network, and regular speaker on radio and TV shows.

Award-winning novelist, journalist, speaker and editor Jeanette Windle has authored 16 fiction and three non-fiction titles, including bestselling Veiled Freedom, a 2010 ECPA Christian Book Award and Christy Award finalist, sequel Freedom's Stand, a 2012 ECPA Christian Book Award and Carol Award finalist, and Congo Dawn, 2013 Golden Scroll Novel of the Year. She is senior editor of an international ministry magazine, and mentors writers on five continents.
